What this site does with your data

There are no accounts and no sign-up. Nothing you do here is tied to an identity, because there is no identity to tie it to.

Saved spots stay in your browser. They're kept in local storage on your own device and are never sent to a server — which also means they don't follow you to another browser or another machine, and clearing your browser data deletes them. The travel-time shapes the map has already drawn are cached the same way, so a reload doesn't have to fetch them again.

Shareable links don't reach us either. The destination, time budget and arrival time in a shared link sit after the # in the URL. Browsers never transmit that part of a URL to a server, so what you're searching for stays on your device even when the link travels.

Third parties the map depends on. Making the map work means your browser talks to a few services directly, and each of them necessarily sees your IP address and roughly what you're looking at:

• Map tiles come from Esri, built on OpenStreetMap and other licensed data.
• Travel-time calculations are computed by Geoapify, reached through our proxy below rather than by your browser directly.
• Our own proxy (a Cloudflare Worker) sits in front of Geoapify and calls it with our key, not yours — there is nothing for you to supply, and no key of yours is ever asked for or held. It briefly processes your IP address to rate-limit abuse — it isn't logged alongside your searches — and it caches results against coordinates rounded to roughly a 300 m grid, so repeat lookups near the same place are answered without another call. Those cached entries are locations, not people.

No ads, no analytics, no tracking pixels. Nothing is sold or shared beyond what's listed above, which is only what's needed to draw the map.

Accuracy

Travel times here are estimates. They come from public timetable data and third-party routing services, not from live official feeds. They don't know about a cancelled service, trackwork, a delay this morning, or the walk from the platform to your actual front door.

The same caution applies to the rent figures: they're medians from lodged rental bonds covering a rolling window of past tenancies, so they describe what people recently agreed to pay in an area, not what's on the market today.

Treat everything on this map as a first pass for narrowing down where to look. Before you act on it — signing a lease especially — check the commute through an official trip planner at the times you'd really be travelling.
